More Addison Pictures
Addison is now 4 days old. Everyone is getting used to having a new baby around. It has been a little difficult for Marlee. She is very interested in her and likes to hold her, but we think that she can tell she is not the baby anymore. It seemed most strange to me that on Saturday she was the baby, and on Sunday she was a big sister.
Addison had her first check up and was a little jaundiced. She had to have some blood drawn today, and it was more uncomfortable for Shondelle than it was for Addison.
Shondelle did not want another "M" name. But is doesn't seem to matter, I am still calling her Marlee or Macy.
We have had some great support from our neighbors in our ward. They have brought us dinner, invited kids over to play and helped run Macy to her activities. I took a few days off work to play "mom" to the kids. I am going back to work tomorrow. It is a much easier job. Shondelle's parents have also been a great help. I dropped off Marlee with Willie, while I sat in the 110 degree heat for Macy's swimming lesson. Mick spent the day on monday and must have been in the pool with the kids & cousins for 3-4 hours!
Addison had her first bath today. She didn't like it much.

Addison is Born
Addison Elizabeth Hales was born this morning at 8:05am. She weighed in at 6lbs 15oz and 20inches long.
She and her mother are doing well.
We had family come and visit her in the hospital today. Jordan and Chelsea came first, followed by Mick & Willie - with our other kids - Macy, Porter & Marlee. Macy and Porter were especially excited to see her. Marlee, although curious, did not seem as obsessed. We'll see how she does when she comes home! Todd & Penni also came by with their kids, Nichole, Kristine & Zoe. Here are a few pictures hot off the press.
